Set among the oaks, Acorn Cottages offer a cozy and comfortable place to stay, Each cottage sleeps 3 as there is also a comfortable day bed in the living area. We are 20 minutes from Round Top, home of the famous twice yearly "Antique Faire". That's not all however, there are many other historical and wonderful places to see and explore near by, and so many other festivals that go on in our area through out the year! Downtown historical LaGrange offers cute shops, restaurants, a beautiful historical courthouse, and other places to see. Reach out to us to learn our rates and the availability of our cottages.
Hi there!
Welcome to La Grange Texas! We are located between Austin and Houston off Highway 71, so easy to find, and once you are here you will love it! We have lots of history here and in our surrounding towns! Beautiful green pastures, lots of gorgeous oaks, rivers and lakes. great steak houses, funky bars and wonderful Tex Mex food.
Our 2 little cottages are out in the country, yet not far from town. Each has its own deck for relaxing in the evening or enjoying your coffee in the early morning. We have a local deer herd that wander into the yard, and lots of birds! So peaceful!
Each cottage is appointed with a queen bed, and a twin daybed, an equipped kitchenette, living room and 3/4 bath. plus, just about any necessity that you may want or need. We provide coffee, cream and sugar, bottled water for the coffee. plus access to an ice machine. I will have muffins in your room the first night, and bottled water and mineral water.
We provide shampoo and conditioner and body wash. lots of towels, comfy beds and flat screen TV.

Twice yearly, a little area in and around Round Top Texas hosts a HUGE Antique Faire! It is world renowned and so much fun!!
Vendors from everywhere come and set up their wares...under tents in fields, in permanent buildings and around existing shops , even in old dance halls! You will delight in all of the vintage furniture, goods, farm stuff, clothing, jewelry, boots as well as newly created wares and clothing, furniture, repurposed stuff galore! If you know of the Junk Gypsies, they are here, the Queens of RePurpose! and fun stuff!. Great food and drinks! you can even rent golf carts in Warrenton. For the walkers, We provide a pull cart in each cottage for your use!
Fall Faire is from October 13th thru the 30th 2022!
We have availability, but we are filling up! and we are only 18-20 minutes away!
There is also a little weekend winter show, end of January if interested!
